20th December 2011
I while ago the girls at Ten Paces and Draw (Alyssa Nassner and Rachel Dougherty) asked me to take part in a project with students at MICA. We’d do the regular sketch trade that comes with Ten Paces but with college students.

This week Ten Paces and Draw will be posting a special project we did with the fine folks of MICA’s Illustration Department! Allan Comport’s Junior Concepts class did a fantastic swap with us. We paired each student with an illustrator, to work on the theme BEST DAY EVER or WORST DAY EVER.

I got to trade with Kayla Wasil, below you can see her original sketch and above is where I went with it. The final piece is available in a 8” x 10” print in my shop, I really liked the finish piece and it got really great feedback on instagram so I decided to offer it as a print. Click here to check out the rest of the trades, and click here to check out what Kayla did with my sketch.
